Juan Manuel Bayona spent more than twelve years in prison, and during that time, he lost much more than his freedom: in addition to watching a degenerative disease deteriorate his vision, Juan Manuel lost his wife and children, left behind the life he knew, and had to learn to survive in a world that operates under rules completely different from those we know. However, what happens next? What happens when a person completes their sentence, leaves prison, and discovers that the punishment didn't end with the sentence?
