Clean cloth First, open the bottom deck of the motorcycle, then open the radiator cover. Open the radiator drain and collect the old coolant reservoir. Once you're sure the radiator is dry, close the drain bolts on the radiator and engine. After closing the drain, refill the radiator with fresh water. Then, bleed the radiator, or what's known as letting out air, to start the engine. Test the cooling circulation. To change the radiator fluid on an NMAX motorcycle, follow these steps: 1. Remove the radiator cover. 2. Unscrew the radiator water filler bolt. 3. Unscrew the radiator water drain bolt and prepare a reservoir. 4. Unscrew the 8mm radiator water drain bolt under the engine and prepare a reservoir. 5. Remove the reservoir hose. 6. Once drained, re-close all radiator water drain bolts, including the reservoir hose. 7. Pour coolant into the radiator and reservoir. 8. Once the radiator is filled, bleed it to remove any trapped air. 9. Start the motorcycle (do not accelerate), then refill the radiator if the fluid level is low. 10. Re-close the radiator water filler bolt and reservoir, and reinstall the radiator cover.
