Vlog-42 Bordi beach || Weekend trip near Mumbai || Dahanu Bordi beach || बोर्डी बीच || दहानु || Bordi is a costal town located in Dahanu taluka on the western coast of India in the Palghar district of Maharashtra. The place is known for its chikoo farms and surroundings. It has many caves and temples. A popular weekend gateway for tourist from Mumbai. It is a place of religious importance for the Parsi or Zoroastrians. Hence it is popular amongst the Parsi community. From Bordi, I travel to Zai village for onward visit for Swastik Bhoomi studio (in Gujarat) where lot of TV serials have made. There is a famous Shiv Pani Puri joint is there in Bordi which taste awesome. Mallinath Jain Tith Temple is also there which is located in a little heights But seeing the temple is worth. How to reach Bordi / Zai Village: From Andheri it is 143 km. By car it will take approximately 3 hours. By Train: Mumbai Western line – Get down at Dahanu Railway station, from there you can take auto upto Bordi directly ( they will charge you Rs. 400/- ) or else you can take a share auto upto Gholvad (Rs. 40/- per head).
