To fully experience this experience, we decided to spend a whole weekend between Italy and Switzerland, starting from the initial stop in Tirano in Italy and travelling along the route of the Bernina Red Train that leads to St Moritz. If you decide to do this trip in a day, there will certainly be very little time to get off at some stops and enjoy the magical atmosphere, whether it is winter or summer.
