BIG WINS at the Dave & Buster's in Times Square NYC! August 2025 arcade tour, new 4K walkthrough

It's been nearly a year since the last time we found ourselves at the Times Square Dave & Buster's, and since our last visit, they've given it the "Store of the Future" makeover, which means lots of changes. No more big VR simulator, no no no. Now they've replaced it with the Human Crane, the social darts bays, and The Arena room. They've also retired a ton of games from their old selection, including some admittedly older games like Dead Heat and Razing Storm, but also some surprising choices like Air FX, Kung Fu Panda, House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn, and Deal or No Deal. Also the other VR games are now gone as well ("Football Frenzy" and "Vader Immortal"), leaving Godzilla Kaiju Wars as the sole VR goggles proponent. Somehow Dance Dance Revolution is still kicking around, but it's since gone offline and half of the arrows seem to not be working. And they've brought in a few of the newer games that seem to be making their way to all the D&Bs nationwide, including Top Gun Maverick, Cyberpunk 2099 Turf Wars, NBA Smash-N-Win, Pac-Man Roller, and Funko Funcade. Overall, I counted 26 games leaving, 3 more having their counts reduced, and just 14 new ones taking their spots. It definitely is noticeable how much emptier it is now, but that doesn't mean we still can't have fun! With some big wins on Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers, and Quik Drop, we walked out with a few extra tickets in our pocket.
