President Donald Trump threatened violent retaliation against Iran if the regime does not quickly sign an agreement, after three U.S. destroyers were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz. "They'll just have to see a big flash coming out of Iran, and they better sign the agreement fast," the president declared. U.S. Central Command released images of its forces disabling two Iranian-flagged oil tankers that were defying the naval blockade, with direct hits on their engines. "U.S. forces in the Middle East remain committed to the full enforcement of the blockade on vessels entering or leaving Iran," the Command said in an official statement. The attacks on the destroyers occurred as they were transiting toward the Gulf of Oman. In response, the U.S. military destroyed missile and drone launch sites, as well as regime intelligence centers.
