We taste Johnnie Walker Blue Label - Ghost & Rare Port Ellen | Master Of Malt
Though it's reopening, we taste the second release from Johnnie Walker's Ghost & Rare series, featuring whisky from Port Ellen before it closed in 1983! Who better to taste it with than whisky ambassador Colin Dunn? Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt Nose: Salted butter, marmalade on toast, elegant peat smoke and oat cakes. Palate: Perfumed malt and orange blossom, balanced by salty sea air and coal dust. Subtle clove brings heat. Finish: Continued peat smoke sticks around for a good long while of the finish.
