Easy Juji Gatame from Gyaku Juji Jime
Here’s a quick little lifeline which I use when an extremely strong opponent manages to pull me down in an attempt to secure a Gyaku Juji Jime (also works for Nami Juji Jime and Kata Juji Jime). The key is to push the elbows inside to prevent them from expanding, twisting the elbows to create a gap, which you then use to slide your hand in to block the strangle. From there, come up on one foot and swing the leg around you opponents head to secure the Juji Gatame.
