SACI MFA in Studio Art Commencement - April 2015 (Part 7/9 - Artist Lawrence Carroll)

In April 2015 , the SACI awarded its first two-year MFA in Studio Art degrees to eight students. SACI is the only accredited U.S. institution in Europe to offer an MFA in Studio Art degree. Over the past 40 years, SACI has helped thousands of students see their way into a life in art. The commencement was held in the Sala Luca Giordano in Florence’s Palazzo Medici Riccardi. Artist Lawrence Carroll eloquently delivered the keynote address. Elizabeth A. Sackler, PhD, Chair of the Board of the Brooklyn Museum and SACI alumna, received an honorary degree. SACI is a US non-profit university-level institution in Florence, Italy, for undergraduate and graduate students seeking accredited instruction in studio art, design, conservation, art history, and Italian language and culture.
