MEGA MALKAGALA EMPOWERMENT: MUMINA BONAYA TELLS VOTERS TO REJECT TRIBAL POLITICS, BACK PERFORMANCE

Isiolo County Woman Representative Mumina Bonaya has urged residents of Malkagala in Cherab Ward, Isiolo County, to choose leaders based on their development record and performance rather than tribal affiliations and hatred. Bonaya made the remarks during an empowerment event for women, youth, and persons living with disabilities in the area, where she also highlighted her achievements as she seeks support ahead of the next general election. The Woman Representative also awarded trophies, footballs, and cash prizes to youth teams that participated in the Mumina Bonaya Football Tournament. During the event, Bonaya distributed KSh 100,000 each to seven groups, as well as tents, chairs, barber shop equipment, car-washing machines, and water tanks to help improve livelihoods and support income-generating activities. Residents who attended the event broke into song and dance to celebrate the occasion. The ceremony was attended by Isiolo County Secretary Dade Boru, county officials from various departments, and representatives from the national government. #muminabonaya
