Join us for an unforgettable day exploring Akihabara, Tokyo's legendary Electric Town, as we experience one surprise after another! Our adventure begins with some of the first snowfall of the season, giving Akihabara a completely different atmosphere than we've ever seen before. We start the day with our first visit to Komeda Coffee inside Akihabara Station before diving headfirst into the district's endless shopping, anime, gaming, and collector culture. We browse stores like Yodobashi Akiba, hunt for treasures at Traders, and check out amazing displays and collectibles at Tamashii Nations. But the biggest surprise of the day might be our visit to an Owl Cafe, where I came face-to-face with a truly massive owl that somehow ended up sitting right on my head! Meanwhile, Tammy's luck was on full display as she absolutely dominated the Ichibankuji prize draws and walked away with some incredible wins. Unfortunately, not every part of the day went according to plan. We wrap up our Akihabara adventure with a visit to the Final Fantasy XIV Cafe, which turned out to be one of the more disappointing experiences of our Tokyo trip.
