The NEWS for Kids 🎙️📰 Characteristics 📺 Types of Texts for Kids
Educational video for children that talks about the characteristics of the news. News is a journalistic text that tells a story about something new and interesting that is happening in the world. It can be about people, places or important events that are happening near or far from where we live. But what makes a piece of information really newsworthy? A piece of information is newsworthy if it is something unusual. For example, imagine how surprised we would be if it started snowing in the middle of summer! Also, something is newsworthy if it affects many people, such as a national election. Finally, a piece of information is newsworthy if it is something new, that is, something we know today and did not know yesterday. We can see news in many different places, such as in newspapers, radio, television and even on social media. But regardless of where we see or hear it, the news always has the same structure. First, you need a catchy headline. Then comes the introduction. A good introduction should have all the information of the article at a glance. Then, in the body, you will find more in-depth information. This video is a very useful and interesting resource for children. It is perfect for explaining the concept of news to children who are starting to write journalistic texts. It is an excellent video for elementary school. Thanks for visiting us!
