Comparing Vertical Grow Towers: GreenStalk vs. the Other Guys

Lately I've been seeing a lot of folks on YouTube gardening in these vertical grow towers. Vertical gardening is all the rage, and for good reason. Vertical hydroponic towers are great for your patio or porch; they have individual planting pockets that offer an easy method for container gardening with fruits, vegetables, herbs, and even flowers and other plants. If you're interested in tower gardening at home, this video is for you! I decided to order a vertical hydroponic grow tower that I've seen quite a bit, the GreenStalk Garden planter (available here: https://amzn.to/3R0B1hf) GreenStalk is an American company, made in the USA, and it's family-owned out of Knoxville, Tennessee. For this product review video, I got the 5-tier planting tower. After unboxing, it was fairly easy to assemble and set up to self-water. Their informative packaging and welcome letter was an unexpected and nice touch. To have a basis for comparison, I also bought a less expensive grow tower, the VivoSun vertical planter (available here: https://amzn.to/45Frgth) which, judging by the photos, I thought would be a similar size. Spoiler alert: it was not. I was definitely wrong on the sizing comparison, but that's my fault for trusting the photos versus the actual product dimensions. The final verdict: I think I'll use the smaller vertical planter for growing herbs, and the larger GreenStalk Vertical Garden for growing actual vegetables. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
