Panama City Gang Members Turn Tourist Guides
Tourists visiting historic museums around the world often enjoy listening to retired veterans telling stories about the glorious or not-so-glorious past. When Panama City revitalized one of its old neighborhoods and cleared it of drug gangs, authorities found that former gang members were also ready to become story-telling veterans — as they gave up on crime and started living within the law.
