This week outrageously wickedly funny comedian and actor Nikki Glaser (The Nikki Glaser Podcast, FBoy Island, Nikki Glaser: Bangin') stopped by the podcast to discuss all manner of important and vulnerable topics ranging from the struggle to be more present, to the art of feeling your feelings. She opened up to us about what it was like to be raised by an anxious parent and how, after therapy, her relationship with both of her parents significantly changed. Nikki revealed the origins of her previous suicidal thoughts, how she went from being scared of boys to being known for her overtly sexual humor, and why she is considering a major life change — a transition away from stand-up comedy. She bravely discusses her disordered eating and body images issues, the heartbreaking experience of losing a friend to suicide, and her decision to stop drinking.
