In this video, I explain and test the SFF (Separate Function Fork) suspension on the Rieju 307 Rally — a rarely discussed system that has a huge impact on riding performance. Unlike conventional forks, this setup splits the functions: the left fork handles compression while the right fork controls rebound. The bike initially felt unstable and unpredictable off-road. After understanding how the SFF system works and properly adjusting each side, the difference was dramatic. I show the process, explain the logic behind the setup and share real-world riding results. Setup used: Front: Rebound (right): 9 clicks from closed Compression (left): 11 clicks from closed Rear: Rebound: middle position Compression: 12 clicks from closed Preload: adjusted for ~95kg I also tested throttle calibration and checked other aspects of the bike during the process.
