Ein Rückblick: Der Tag der offenen Tür auf Winklers Hof

A Look Back: The Open Day at Winkler's Farm The open day attracted around 600 visitors to the farm – and offered not only a varied program for the whole family, but also a special opportunity to get to know the farm, take a look behind the scenes, and showcase the new stable unit. The day was characterized by a great atmosphere, the bright, sunny weather, and many happy faces. For the younger guests, there was a colorful children's program with a straw castle, sandpits, craft stations, and face painting – all free of charge and organized with lots of heart. There was a wide variety of culinary offerings. The huge cake buffet, along with fries and currywurst – lovingly prepared and organized by the Leezen Sports Club from the neighboring village. As an alternative, there were delicious fish sandwiches, generously sponsored by the Hamburg Fish Bistro and freshly prepared on-site by owner Roland and his team. At the equestrian flea market, there was plenty of browsing, haggling, and finding. The big guessing game "How Much Does Mundek Weigh?" There was plenty of guessing involved. Thanks to the horse scales from the Fjord, the results were accurate – places 1 to 3 were ceremoniously chosen. Even an exciting jump-off for 2nd and 3rd place provided extra excitement. Great prizes were up for grabs on the Wheel of Fortune – numerous sponsors contributed with non-cash prizes and vouchers, ensuring so many visitors went home with a smile. There was plenty of digging to do on the men's playground. At the same time, stable tours and carriage rides around the farm were offered – a perfect opportunity to experience everyday life. The highlight of the day was the thrilling show program. An impressive dressage and show jumping quadrille, a mystical liberty dressage with Kim and her beautiful gelding, and, to top it all off, an action-packed race between carriage, rider, and runner.
