2.8 Duramax Fuel Filter Replacement- Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon 2016-2021
The replacement of the 2.8 Duramax Fuel Filter is easier than changing the motor oil in my opinion. The replacement procedure really only requires a few tools, 27mm socket/ratchet, possibly a pair of pliers, drain pan, and the new fuel filters. To change the fuel filters in one of these 2016-2021diesel Colorado's or Canyon's remove the yellow drain, drain the fuel, remove the filters, install the new filters, install the yellow fuel drain, and prime the fuel system. It shouldn't take more than a half hour to complete this service. Most people won't even have to jack up the truck.
