University of Rochester Tennis Team Video 2024-2025
With outstanding on-campus facilities the University of Rochester tennis teams continue to play an elite national schedule. The Yellowjackets are poised for even more success with a talented and young roster. The Yellowjackets 2024-'25 season included matches against Division I opponents Buffalo, Colgate and Cornell, along with several nationally ranked Division III teams. Two-time All-American Josey Libby was ranked sixth in the region in singles. Libby and Katie Yang were ranked fifth in doubles. Four men were named Academic All-District and Krish Vennam was ranked 6th regionally and also was name Academic All-America. As members of the University Athletic Association the U of R travels to the conference championships in Florida each season. The women’s national champion and the men’s national runner-up came out of the UAA in 2025. The on-campus tennis facilities are among the best. The outdoor Lyman Tennis center underwent a significant renovation last year. They also have four indoor courts with a true tennis surface.
