MODERN CLASS 717! Riding the Siemens Desiro City on the Northern City Line: Harringay to Essex Road

This is the Newest Generation Train of the Desiro City Family! In this Video, we are riding the very nice Class 717 operated by Great Northern from Harringay (located on the ECML/East Coast Mainline) to Essex Road, on the Northern City Line, one of London’s least known railway lines! What is really special about this Route is that the Electrification System changes from Overhead Wires 25kV 50HZ to 750V Third Rail at Drayton Park.
