Shape Of My Heart by Dominic Miller & Sting

Written in 1993 by guitarist Dominic Miller and Sting, Shape Of My Heart started as a finger exercise for playing Chopin on a classical guitar. The main riff is haunting and the lyrics describe a gambler who plays to find the answer to an almost religious question of chance and probability. It speaks of the origins of clubs and spades as weapons of war. And the gambler doesn’t always play it straight. He may conceal a king in his hand while the memory of it fades.
