Hobart Tasmania: Two Brits Who Didn't Expect to Feel Like This

We finally made it to Hobart — Tasmania's stunning capital. From the famous Salamanca Markets to our first scallop pies (divided opinions!), the historic streets of Battery Point, and an unforgettable day at the MONA Museum. This is Hobart, and it completely won us over. 🌿 We kicked off our first day in Hobart City, Australia camping at the Hobart Showgrounds before jumping on the bus into the CBD. Our subscribers sent us straight to the Salamanca Markets — and they were absolutely right. We browsed the stalls, hunted down coffee and doughnuts, and stumbled across an unexpected Swiss delicacy — Engadiner Nusstorte — before bravely trying our first Tasmanian scallop pie. Let's just say we were… divided. After the markets we wandered down to the Hobart Marina and on to Battery Point and Arthur Circus — one of Hobart's most charming historic neighborhoods that gave us serious vibes of home in England and Cornwall. A pit stop at Jackman & McRoss Bakery for exceptional coffee, followed by cold beers in the beer garden at Preachers — complete with a full-size bus. Day two took us to MONA Museum — one of the most unique and thought-provoking museums we've ever visited.
