The Original Demon's Souls (2009) Vanguard Demon No Hit
I actually prefer Vanguard to Asylum Demon. He has more health and damage, and a far more intimidating moveset, primarily due to the fact that he will walk in place and turn to face you, meanwhile his feet are hitboxes you actually have to be aware of. Asylum Demon on the other hand has basically a complete safe-spot behind his rear, which doesn't go away for practically the whole fight. Both strategies for each boss are practically the same, but aside from Asylum Demon's rare "jump-away" move, Vanguard makes said strategy far more difficult for the player.
