Jhay Cortez has been thinking about how he wanted his music to sounds for years now, ever since he was a kid, really. When he hit the professional scene in 2018, the reaction was instantaneous. The Puerto Rican upstart's blend of reggaeton and trap-pop had established stars signing up for feature and giving shout-outs galore. J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Greeicy, Karol G, Ozuna, Sky, Wisin y Yandel - the list goes on and on.
