BEFORE, DURING & AFTER: The Modernization of The Dover Elevator at Vancouver Mall (Part 1)

[February 2025] Ladies & gentlemen... The long gruesome waiting is finally over. The 1979 Dover hydraulic elevator at Vancouver Mall has FINALLY completed modernization & went in service as of February 2025! This documentary shows footage of my very final ride of the original elevator, photos taken during the modernization, & finally, the final result! I am proud to say this mod is one of the nicest & most satisfactory modernizations I've seen. I cannot express how dilapidated, out-of-code & gnarly it was. This modernization makes this elevator look, run & perform SO MUCH better! I wonder how long this will last, but I am pretty confident that this will last a while.
