Make a horizontal furrow Instead of a deep hole, dig a trench about 10–15 cm deep. 2. Remove lower leaves Remove the leaves from the part of the stem you're going to bury. 3. Lay the plant on its side Place the plant on its side, leaving only the tip (the top part) above ground. 4. Cover the stem with soil Bury the entire horizontal section, leaving about 15–20 cm of leaves above ground. 5. Straighten the tip The part that remains above ground will naturally grow upwards, reaching for the light.
