After exploring Venice, we picked up our rental car and made the drive into the breathtaking Italian Dolomites! Our first stop was Candide, where we visited during the off season and experienced a much quieter side close to the famous mountain town, Cortina D’Ampezzo From wandering nearly empty streets and meeting friendly cows to eating delicious pizza, gelato, grocery shopping, and settling in for our mountain adventure, this was the perfect start to our Dolomites trip.
