The Kawasaki Jet Mate FINALLY Hits the Water… And It Didn’t Go As Planned

The newest project in the Freestyle Unlimited fleet is finally in the water! In this episode, we take the Kawasaki Jet Mate out to the river for its inaugural ride and first real water test. After all the work getting this thing together, it was time to see what it could actually do on the water… and things definitely got interesting. This ride turned into a complete roller coaster. We uncovered a few issues that are going to need attention before this Jet Mate is truly dialed in, but overall this was an awesome first step for the build and a huge milestone for the series. Even with the problems, seeing this classic Kawasaki back on the water made all the work worth it. This is just the beginning of the Jet Mate series, and we’ve got a LOT more coming soon including repairs, upgrades, troubleshooting, river riding, and hopefully getting this thing fully sorted and reliable.
