Core Facilitation - Tonic Spread
In this video I demonstrate a technique I learned from Vicky Johnson of the Institute of Physical Art. This is a VERY effective way of gaining access to the deep stabilizing muscles of the trunk. I am using the arms to overflow into the scapular stabilizers, the trunk, and ultimately to the hip. This is a great technique for people who are psoas dominant anytime their hip flexes.
