TLDR: You outrange Kela during the Storm phase which makes her not cast the skill that spawns Elite Crocodiles. In depth explanation: Kela has a range of 1500 (2000 from her center) and whenever a player is within that range, she will use her abilities as usual. Elite Crocodiles are tied to a skill she uses while burrowed. We use being out of range in order to have her not use that ability and therefore not having to deal with the Elite crocs (except for that one spawn where someone took the portal too late because of getting knocked by the tornado). During the first storm phase, she will move slowly toward the center of the arena. That's why we need to Invis before she gets too close, so that she doesn't spawn crocs. For some reason (we don't know why), from storm phase 2 onward she doesn't move back to the middle anymore and instead just stays stationary on the beach. Hence, those phases are even easier. The main phase plays just like usual, with the only nuances being that we want Kela as close to the beach as possible to have her out of the way and that the two Thiefs needed to cleave the close crabs down to low % and then quickly finish them once the storm phase starts. It is also very important that everyone takes the portal immediately and doesn't greed damage, because otherwise you risk taking it too late and having Elite crocs spawning.
