Snorkeling the Intertidal: Sea Stars, Octopus & Sea Slugs
Hi, I’m Calista I live along the California coast! Driven by a deep love for the ocean, I’m endlessly curious about how marine ecosystems function and how each species, no matter how small, plays a role in sustaining life beneath the surface. In this video, I take you with me as I snorkel through the Pacific intertidal. Where seagrass sways with the current, sea stars cling patiently to rock, and nudibranchs move quietly through forests of seaweed. The intertidal is beautiful, but it is also vulnerable. Every rock is someone’s shelter. Every exposed creature is simply waiting for the tide to return. Thank you for exploring with me. — Rooted in science. Guided by wonder.
