1/11 — Play Ukulele by Ear Basics (Beginning Ukulele)
Learn to play ukulele by ear using the Toneway method. It will have you picking out melodies quickly. At first we use numbers but they're just stepping stones. Soon you wont need them and will be playing by ear. This is the first in a series. Go to http://toneway.com/learn/ukulele-lessons for more lessons. Guitar players wanting to learn to play by ear can use this series too. Just put a capo at the fifth fret. Cheers! (NOTE: When I'm tuning the G string. it is a low G, not a high G, like that of some other ukuleles. But no worries. Just tune yours to G. It doesn't need to match mine if you don't already have a low G string.) You can still strum along and pick out melody in the Key of G.)
