I'm often asked what I THINK is THE BEST TRUCK in the CLASS 8 MARKET. I don't hesitate to say PACCAR TRUCKS - Peterbilt trucks and Kenworth Trucks are the best. From 33 years of owning trucks, I have found Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks to be very reliable and great value. I have found the service efficient. Whenever I was in need of warranty work or other repairs, the repair shops were able to schedule my trucks quickly. This was super important to me, in order to avoid excess downtime. I found their warranties to be very comprehensive. Paccar backed up their warranties as well. I've known many truck owners with Freightliners, Internationals and other makes of trucks, who have warranty issues with their trucks. Kenworth and Peterbilt are sturdy and reliable trucks, which in my experience have served me well for my type of trucking, which for the most part has been long haul trucking. Reliability, dependabilty and value.... all traits of a good truck.
