Happy Friday, friends! As the days have grown darker & shorter, I’ve been struggling to find inspiration and motivation to film at the moment. I think a part of it has been dealing with some burn out after the early autumn season and the other part has honestly been the feeling like I have nothing worth sharing, nothing special or beautiful to give at the moment in my life with these dark, gloomy, cold, wet days becoming more and more frequent. But then it hit me. I was reminded of the very philosophy for which I even wanted to make videos in the first place, the very reason why I create & share the videos I do - to find beauty & magic in the ordinary & mundane moments. To find it in the daily routine, the everyday moments, no matter how repetitive or small or minor as they may seem. It is in these very moments that make life beautiful & full & whole. It isn’t these grand gestures, or major milestones or perfect days… it’s these seemingly unimportant moments - but in reality they are the most important of all. And so, I decided to film a simple day in my life. Sharing with you a glimpse into my days at the moment… and while they are all ordinary moments, in my mind as I experience & am present in each of them - I try to shift my perspective, romanticizing each minute, finding the beauty & magic of it all. I hope this can remind you too - that any moment in life can be made extraordinary, if only you stop & take a moment to find it.
