Dick Winters Had Joseph Liebgott at Gunpoint "I Threw Off the Safety" | Band of Brothers
Dick Winters explained how Band of Brothers toned down a heated interaction between himself and Joseph Liebgott after the Crossroads Battle. In Episode 5, Dick Winters tells Joseph Liebgott to escort eleven German prisoners back to battalion headquarters. The real life WWII altercation between Liebgott and Winters was much more intense and resulted in Liebgott becoming unhinged, causing Winters to take aim at his fellow Easy Company soldier.
