Maxpedition EDC Organizer - Three Years Later (Update)
Having used this pouch for three years now, I've changed things around a bit and my philosophy behind carrying certain things has become much clearer. There are many factors that could make what you need different from me. Do you live in the city, small town, or country? The kind of work you do, how you spend your free time, if you have kids, the list goes on. The three basic categories I've broken it down to: 1. Emergency items 2. Everyday items 3. Backup items 1. Emergency items. Things that I'll hopefully never need, but they are small, lightweight, and they would be critical in emergencies or disasters. 2. Everyday items. These are not the things I need or use everyday, but maybe once a week or a few times a month. Things such as a knife and flashlight I carry on my person since I use those on a daily basis. Examples in this category would be a multitool, chapstick, and nail clippers. 3. Backup items. Three is two, two is one, one is none. The idea is redundancy. The multitool falls into this category as well, since it has a knife. You might chose a larger knife, or backups to whatever you normally carry. Thanks for watching, and check out the old video as well, for more ideas. Some of the items I used to carry didn't suit me any longer, but they could suit your, or spur other ideas. • EDC - Maxpedition EDC Organizer
