Bachelor of Fine Arts traditional dance by Benjamin Katey Bannerman (bannermanH) & some University of Ghana choreographers of 2016 year group at the School of Performing Arts, Mawere Opoku Dance Hall. Title: Adzogbo The Adzogbo ritual dance routine emerged in Ghana from Dahomey (Benin) as Dzovu. It originated from the ancient Fon people of that region. This dance was primarily a war dance that exhibited the ability of the soldiers. It was enacted before their departure to the battleground.
