American Signal Corporation T-128 | Attack Signal | Brecksville, OH | 6-24-17

My first siren video was a success! I apologize in advance about the shakiness towards the end...sorry about that. I chose to go to a T-128 nearby as the drive was not very long (yes, I now have a driver's license, which means more videos like these might be possible)! This particular T-128 is located at the Montessori school on Oakes Rd., and while it didn't sound too loud to me (I was wearing hearing protection) without hearing protection it was still very potent and the echoes were absolutely amazing! I will definitely be back some time this summer to re-record this as my tripod decided to not stay in place (hence the shakiness). It was also sort of windy, too. This siren can be heard from 4 miles away. Brecksville's system used to consist of Whelen WPS-2016's and (later) a Whelen WPS-2809, but the system was upgraded a few years ago and now consists of 2 T-128's, and 2 2001-130's. The -2809 was replaced by a 2001 last year. The City of Brecksville tests their sirens every Saturday at noon, March-October following the Statewide Tornado Drill.
