Also, how correct installation and maintenance is vital to the correct working of the gates: The posts need to be firm in the ground to prevent movement The ground around the gates needs to be flat, well drained and free from vegetation The Worcester gate is the only one which will take the recommended 8 seconds to close. However it needs continued adjustment to achieve this. The trombone handle and a light spring makes it easier to use with a walking pole or stick The new "Easy Latch" with large hole makes it much easier to lift with a walking pole.
