1950ish Vactric W303 Cylinder Vacuum - First look, does it work

Back in the good* old days, Britian made Vacuum Cleaners. Vactric was one such Manufacturer, and they made this, W303 Cylinder vacuum! I got given it by the son if it's original owner, so let's see what it's like, howe well it runs and try to encourage it to pick up some dirt 😬 This video has proper Subtitles!
