"Wajah Bewajah: A tribute to Democracy" is a series of public talks initiated by Shubhra Ranjan IAS Study with the aim of bringing to aspiring civil servants the nuances of public policy formulation, these talks also aim to create a more informed citizenry. In this lecture Sunita Narain talks about the issues related to the availability of safe sanitation practices, cleaning rivers, tackling air pollution, improving the quality of public transport in cities and deforestation, all are real and pertinent issues related to tackling environmental challenges necessary for inclusive and sustainable growth. Also, the importance of climate change negotiations and the role of the USA and European states is critical in the whole process. This lecture takes a closer look at all these issues.
