Highland Hospital's Acute Care Tower

Designing for Quality Care The brand new Acute Care Tower was built with you and our community in mind. For both patients and staff it offers a warm and healing environment featuring state-of-the-art private patient rooms, abundant natural light, welcoming family areas and breathe taking views. The tower was designed to support the delivery of “whole patient care” with the latest innovations in acute care space planning, advanced equipment and communications technology. The new tower will provide medical and surgical services, a family birthing center, Diagnostic and Interventional Services (DISC), an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as support Alameda County’s Public Arts Program.
