The Humber Bridge to St Andrews Dock, Hull | Walking the Edge Uncut | Episode 1
The Humber Bridge to St Andrews Dock, Hull | Walking the Edge Uncut | Episode 1 No commentary. No edits. No agenda. Just 2.5 miles of walking the Humber Estuary from the Humber Bridge to St Andrews Dock, Hull — uncut and in real time. This is Walking the Edge Uncut — the full, unedited footage from the Walking the Edge of Britain coastal walk. No narration, no music, just ambient sound and open air. The kind of video you put on when you want company on a walk, something calming in the background, or a virtual stroll along one of Britain's most dramatic estuaries. This stretch covers the same route as Episode 1 of Walking the Edge of Britain — starting at the iconic Humber Bridge and heading east along the Humber Estuary towards Hull. 2.5 miles. One hour. Completely unfiltered. The sound changes as the walk progresses. It starts with birdsong in the park around Humber Bridge Country Park — dozens of birds, surprisingly peaceful for somewhere so close to one of the largest suspension bridges in the world. Then the estuary opens up and the soundscape shifts to seabirds and the wide, quiet wash of the Humber. Later, as the route approaches St Andrews Dock and the edge of Hull, the distant sound of traffic drifts in — a reminder that the city is waiting. It's 2.5 miles of the Trans Pennine Trail, the Clive Sullivan Way, and the King Charles III England Coast Path, all in one go, all in real time, all exactly as it happened on the day. Put it on the treadmill. Walk along with it. Or just let it play. 🎧 WHAT YOU'LL HEAR → Birdsong — Humber Bridge Country Park → Seabirds and estuary ambience — Hessle Foreshore → River Humber ambient sound → Distant traffic — approaching St Andrews Dock, Hull 📍 ROUTE Humber Bridge → Humber Bridge Country Park → Hessle Foreshore → Whiting Mill → River Humber Estuary → St Andrews Dock, Hull 🥾 TRAILS COVERED → Trans Pennine Trail → Clive Sullivan Way → King Charles III England Coast Path 🎬 ABOUT WALKING THE EDGE UNCUT Walking the Edge Uncut is the raw, unedited companion to Walking the Edge of Britain — a solo 10,000 mile coastal walk around Britain by someone who has never hiked before. While the main series is edited, narrated and (occasionally) funny, the Uncut series is exactly what it says. Full footage. Real time. Ambient sound only — except for a brief introduction at the start. Perfect for: virtual walking | treadmill scenery | relaxation videos | ambient sound | coastal walks UK | hiking footage | walking meditation | background video ________________________________________ Thanks for watching!
