Ettore Messina: “I would not like to go back to 2000, when we had two leagues”

In a long interview with Eurohoops, coach Ettore Messina speaks about his coaching philosophy, his years in the NBA and most importantly the current state of the EuroLeague and European basketball. Armani Milano's hed coach is concerned about the future of basketball, saying that "the most important thing is first of all, to try to find a solution and some kind of let’s say, common plan with FIBA and NBA". Explaining that "we missed a huge chance 15 years ago to become the development league of the NBA!
