Digital PDP11/20 H960 RK05 PC05 TU56 VT220 up and running, just fun stuff. Ascii art, space invaders
Okay, don't take this one too serious please... 😊 I just thought it is fun to demonstrate how I start my PDP11/20 and do some fun stuff with it. It has been quite a journey to get is to the level where it is now. All the stuff came here in bits and pieces, the RK05 disk drives were meant to be scrapped, the TU56H was meant for parts only and had a few burned boards in it. The 11/20 itself had its own story where someone probably dropped something conductive on the backplane while it was turned on. So several TTL chips were bad... Baby steps and many hours... The last past which I still have to fix is a 4KW core memory module. Probably something for the next winter...
