Significado de modificador M en tolerancia geométrica

In engineering drawings, the correct use of geometric tolerances (GD&T) is an important factor in ensuring the functional requirements of parts. There are three distinct functional conditions achieved with the use of material modifiers M, L, and formerly S. In this video, I will explain the meaning and use of the maximum material modifier (MMC), represented by a circled M, applied in the second window of the control frame alongside the geometric tolerance. In other videos, I will continue to explain the minimum material modifier (LMC) and the no modifier symbol (formerly S), which means the feature size does not matter. The video series will conclude by explaining the use of these modifiers in datums.
