Can you beat Pokemon Fire Red with only Fire Type Pokemon?

In this Pokémon challenge I see if I can complete FireRed by only battling with fire pokemon. I was not allowed to trade with anyone outside the new game file and I couldn't have more than one of the same pokemon on my team. Early on I had to battle Gym Leaders like Brock and Misty where I was at a disadvantage going up against rock and water type pokemon with a party of fire types. The early game wasn't too bad with Charizard and I quickly caught Arcanine and Flareon to add to my fire team. I taught them powerful moves like flamethrower, overheat, and fireblast. But the Elite Four was insanely difficult when I had to face Lorelei with her Dewgong and Lapras that knew surf. It was super effective against all of my pokemon. The hardest part of all was when I had to fight Gary's Blastoise to become pokemon champion. His hydro pump destroyed my pokemon but watch till the end to see the strategy I came up with to defeat him. I really love these old Gameboy Advanced pokemon games and the nostalgia they bring.
