Behind the scenes as a character for Critically Ill kids at Dream Day.

The fully immersive experience is centered about creating joy, an escape and unforgettable memories or Dreamers and their families. Dreams Come True exists to help these brave children and their families find a momentary reprieve from the stress and struggles associated with battling a serious illness or medical condition. Whatever the dream may be, the momentary reprieve from doctor visits, tests, and medical treatments makes all the difference. The community came together to give the red carpet treatment to 36 local children, known as Dreamers, who were honored as the heroes they are during the one-of-a-kind celebration. More than 2,000 attendees filled the festive community gathering, which featured live music, nearly 100 beloved character appearances, a parade, more than 100 local food vendors, 20-plus themed performances, children’s activities, and much more. More than 200 volunteers were on hand to help make the day a success, and all individuals, organizations, and businesses that participated donated their time and resources to the event.
