I compared CPU temperatures using three different CPU coolers with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D. The cheapest of these, the AK400, is sufficient, and I think a single-tower air-cooled system will cool it without any issues. If you're more particular about cooling or looking for aesthetics and quietness, you'd be better off choosing an AIO water-cooled or high-end air-cooled cooler.
