Familia Moraru a investit într-o fermă de pui de carne crescuți la sol

In Vaslui County, the Moraru family owns the first farm in Romania authorized to raise free-range broilers. The couple accepted the challenge from Carrefour Romania, and for two years they have managed to create a production flow that allows them to meet the demand from the supermarket chain. The poultry business has a longer history and even though the beginnings were not easy, the farm has developed and become a reliable supplier of free-range eggs and chicken. The Moraru couple were the first in the country to set up a free-range laying hen farm in 2007. They had confidence in their own strength and gradually adapted to a new technology, with challenges but also opportunities. A few years later, they followed the same path with raising broilers. The development of the farms was done with the help of European funds through which they financed over 10 projects, including a slaughterhouse. The investment amounted to five million euros and was the moment when the family business turned into a national business. A business that already runs tens of millions of euros per year, the Moraru couple's farm retains its core of a family business, and the products continue to have the taste of a peasant household.
